While in NYC recently we cruised up and down 36th through 38th street between 5th and 7th, where the bead and trim shops are. So much to see, it was overwhelming. I took a bunch of cool inside video at several warehouses, but my video camera “went missing” so that footage is all gone. But my handy I-phone still had some shots on it that I can share.
Shelly & I are attending the Whole Bead Show in Providence, Rhode Island. after a very long plane ride we landed and immediately felt relieved to be here. This is such a beautiful state, lovely brick buildings, lots of very big historic houses, many with cupolas an interesting details, unusual shapes, porches, very cool.
Providence is jewelry central, tons of manufacturers, lots of possibilities here. My Swarovski rep. is here so we took the opportunity to visit and see their show room. I could spend days there! The showroom has these wonderful shallow drawers full of crystals, cameos, beads, and cabs of all kinds. They have a huge display of vintage pre WWI beads and pendants, OMG! Very inspirational.
We had a great time visiting the beautiful city of Portland, Oregon, our Trunk Show at the Hotel Deluxe was fun and a great opportunity to meet and talk with our Portland customers! Thanks to all of you who came to our show, we appreciate your support!
