We played with Alcohol Inks and Lucite beads today, and got some great results with little time and effort. Here’s a quick recap:
Assorted White Lucite Beads
Alcohol Inks, lighter colors best
Cup or jar of water
baby wipes for clean up and Blending Solution
I like to set out 3 or 4 colors that coordinate, I used Pastel shades for a more watercolor look. So, used Peach Bellini, Cloudy Blue, Sandal, and Juniper. I laid out a small puddle of each color on my silicone sheet and with the brush randomly dipped in to a color and brushed it on the white lucite flowers, from both the inside and the outside, in strips, randomly applying color till it was what I wanted.

It all started with the plan to make a quick and simple bracelet featuring a component from the new Nunn Design Winter 2017 line. This is the first time I have tried out the technique of… Continue reading Love Is in the Air – A Valentine’s Day Necklace

With so many vibrant colors and patterns to choose from,… Continue reading Fun with Fashion Stretch Spandex Ribbon

I adore making jewelry that my fiancee will enjoy and wear often, because he wants to and not just to please me! These necklaces are more than Vintaj components put together, they are the coordinates of the first kiss my fiancee and I shared. The image is forever burned in my memory and now… Continue reading His and Hers “First Kiss” Necklaces

It’s been a while since we’ve done a ring tutorial here, and it’s about time for another one. The rings we’re showing you today are super easy, and extra adorable. We’ll be using Nunn Design’s Itsy Bezel rings, and you have the option of using either a diminutive button, or a two-hole cabochon, (or whatever you might have on hand to fill the bezel. Crystal Clay gives more options too.) Both fit perfectly in the Ring bezel!
These rings look great on their own, but I think they’re even better when stacked, or when you wear multiple rings at once, and another option is to wear them on a chain instead of your fingers.
