Recently my sister Belinda came to spend the weekend with me and as we often do, we beaded together, each of us making a version of a pattern designed by Nela Kabelova, ‘Venezia’, a lovely set of earrings using the new PaisleyDuo beads from Matubo. We had recently received a big shipment of them and… Continue reading Our versions of the Venezia Earrings
I noticed an article a week or so back about the popularity of a colorway called Millennial Pink, a warm pink color apparently very much in vogue right now. We happen to have a Bead Soup called Bara that embodies all the qualities of this colorway, and Lindsey put this lovely set together using the… Continue reading Contemporary ‘Millennial Pink’ Necklace and Earrings

Nunn Design findings and Crystal Clay are a match made in heaven, and perfect to make your wedding day or prom jewelry. Lots of… Continue reading Wedding or Prom Set made with Nunn Design & Crystal Clay
Lindsey made these lovely long and dangling earrings recently using a chain that makes this look so easy. The chain alternates between the larger flat links and the smaller grouped chains so you just need a section of chain to make this look work. The 3-Petal Bellflowers come in lots of lovely colors and finishes, but this color worked so nicely with the chain.
Memory wire makes putting a bracelet together a snap. You can be playful, mix and match beads and findings, colors and shapes. Just figure out how many wraps you want, cut maybe a bit more to be sure it fits right and start stringing! Materials: 3 strands of Glass Picasso finish mix 3 packs of… Continue reading Memory Wire Mix Bracelet
Nunn Designs new charms are so inspirational, and I immediately was drawn to the Serpentine beads to pair with them. Memory wire was a perfect solution for the pairing and very easy to do. Tiny copper beads as spacers was the perfect touch for blending the copper present in the design. Serpentine is said to… Continue reading Nunn Design Earrings & Memory Wire Bracelets

It’s been a while since we’ve done a ring tutorial here, and it’s about time for another one. The rings we’re showing you today are super easy, and extra adorable. We’ll be using Nunn Design’s Itsy Bezel rings, and you have the option of using either a diminutive button, or a two-hole cabochon, (or whatever you might have on hand to fill the bezel. Crystal Clay gives more options too.) Both fit perfectly in the Ring bezel!
These rings look great on their own, but I think they’re even better when stacked, or when you wear multiple rings at once, and another option is to wear them on a chain instead of your fingers.
A simple leather bracelet is a classic staple in any jewelry collection, no matter how big or small. We love to see the amazing things people can do with leather, but you don’t have to be an expert leatherworker to master this super chic bracelet. Plus, when you make it yourself, you can size it to… Continue reading Lindsey’s Leather Bracelet
