Recently my sister Belinda came to spend the weekend with me and as we often do, we beaded together, each of us making a version of a pattern designed by Nela Kabelova, ‘Venezia’, a lovely set of earrings using the new PaisleyDuo beads from Matubo. We had recently received a big shipment of them and… Continue reading Our versions of the Venezia Earrings
Becky Nunn at Nunn Design, designed a new line of Open Back Bezels that work perfectly with Swarovski crystals. We offer all kinds of charms, and have a line of enameled charms that are cute and fun. This set of teeny tiny Penguins appealed to my love of all things tiny, and I realized they were small enough to fit in the small bezel earrings if I cut off the loops at the top… Continue reading Do you Love Penguins? It’s been a while since we’ve done a ring tutorial here, and it’s about time for another one. The rings we’re showing you today are super easy, and extra adorable. We’ll be using Nunn Design’s Itsy Bezel rings, and you have the option of using either a diminutive button, or a two-hole cabochon, (or whatever you might have on hand to fill the bezel. Crystal Clay gives more options too.) Both fit perfectly in the Ring bezel!
These rings look great on their own, but I think they’re even better when stacked, or when you wear multiple rings at once, and another option is to wear them on a chain instead of your fingers.
A simple leather bracelet is a classic staple in any jewelry collection, no matter how big or small. We love to see the amazing things people can do with leather, but you don’t have to be an expert leatherworker to master this super chic bracelet. Plus, when you make it yourself, you can size it to… Continue reading Lindsey’s Leather Bracelet

I was wandering the aisles of the shop, petting beads (as one does), when I came across an item I’d never seen before: these raw crystal points. They are gorgeous! I love all stones, but there’s something especially wonderful about working with the jagged and organic shapes of unpolished crystal. Because we’re focusing on Vintaj this week,… Continue reading Raw Crystal Hanger Necklace
